Meet Bianca!!
Bianca Hicks serves as the Vice President of Strategic Operations leading programming and community investments/grant funding. As the resident hall dweller, she has spent more than a decade and a half working in the nonprofit industry. Bianca enjoys long walks on the beach, cars, motorcycles, and spending time watching her family develop and grow. She is a proud CSU Pueblo alum, mom of 2, and wife of 1.
Some fun facts about Bianca are:
- I have above average-length arms.
- I enjoy the car and motorcycle scene and have been very interested in cars since I was a young girl because of my grandfather being a master mechanic in the Army.
- I love modding cars (but it's so expensive).
- I enjoy cooking.
- I absolutely LOVE listening to music- it fuels me and my mindset and I'm happiest when my body is moving to the beat.
Bianca's responses to some fun questions:
If I had a superpower, it would be to slow down time in order to fully enjoy life and be more present.
If I were a pasta shape, I would be cavatappi because it’s unique and fun.
If I entered a talent show, I would sing. She loves to sing, especially in the car but the acoustics are so much better in the shower!
I feels like the most inspiring thing about her job, and any job, are the different ways you can help others. I feels you don’t have to work in a nonprofit to make an impact. There are little ways that we all can support each other and be kind. Sometimes we’ll never know the full impact of those little acts of kindness. ❤
